How do I make my batteries safe for collection?

Prior to collection please tape the terminals (connections) of the batteries with non-conductive tape (insulating tape), to prevent fire. Inform our team if you have a large volume of batteries that need to be transported. All hazardous waste must be accompanied by a waste transfer notice submitted to the NIEA 3 days before the date of collection.
